Grand Theft Auto IV Expansion Due Early 09

The popular Grand Theft Auto IV is to get its long-awaited downloadable expansion pack in February 2009, according to reports out of the US.

Titled Lost And Damned the exclusive to Microsoft Xbox 360 title will focus on a new character, Johnny Klebitz, part of The Lost biker gang, which already appears on Grand Theft Auto IV.

“Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background,” says Rockstar vice president of creative development Dan Houser. “The story will show you a different side of Liberty City.”

Just as The Lost played a bit part in Niko’s story, Niko will appear briefly in Lost And Damned. “Tons of details and mysteries from [Niko’s] story get explained, so it will add a lot of colour to the main story,” said Houser.
