Intel have debuted a concept laptop PC which folds up to become a LCD television at the Intel Developer Forum in Taiwan.
According to ComputerWorld, the machine folds up with the screen facing away from the keypad and then slips into a docking station for use as an LCD television. The docking station has built-in speakers and acts as a TV stand.
Intel Developer Forum officials said the design is a concept model and not expected to go into production, ComputerWorld reported.
The device is one of many space saving designs which Intel has debuted recently, and could be Intel’s answer to Microsoft’s much-hyped UPMC.
The UPMC is a tablet device which contains a touch screen, onboard storage, and promises the ability to stream content from a Media Center PC.
