Several iPhone X users are reporting issues when answering incoming calls, leaving some worried they’re missing calls because of display delays.
Apple is reportedly investigating the issue and looking into complaints made in the last three months. According to the Financial Times, currently, complaints received are in “relatively small numbers”.
Many iPhone X users claim the device sometimes doesn’t display caller ID or ‘Accept’/’Decline’ buttons for incoming calls.
According to Macrumors‘ forum, some users are experiencing display delays of up to ten seconds.
Users have also taken to Apple’s community portal to express their concern:
“Whenever I receive an incoming call in my iPhone X, ringtone starts but the display comes in after six to eight seconds. Whenever I restart my iPhone X, the problem gets automatically solved and after 15 to 20 calls the same problem starts again”.
