A worldwide series of concerts featuring music from the popular video game series The Legend of Zelda is heading to Australia and New Zealand later this year.
‘The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses 2017’ will tour Auckland on August 14, Perth on August 24 and Melbourne on September 3.
Featuring music from the first Zelda game released in 1986 through to the latest Zelda game, Breath of the Wild, for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year, conductor Jessica Gethin will lead a full orchestra and choir for the first Australian tour dates in four years.
“We’re really going all-out this year to celebrate the newly released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” said Jason Michael Paul, the President of Jason Michael Paul Entertainment, Inc. which is producing the tour.
“Besides all the new stuff, we’re also bringing back the Ballad of the Wind Fish from the original program, which has been a big request from fans for a while.”
A video collage will also play in sync to the live orchestral renditions, which are overseen and approved by Zelda developers and composers.
