Huawei has taken on Samsung, with reports revealing its Mate 20 Pro will feature an in-display fingerprint reader and curved AMOLED screen.
According to Russian tech-publication, Hi-Tech, the Mate 20 Pro will debut a curved AMOLED screen similar to it’s Porche Edition Mate RS.
Insiders claim the device’s screen will be manufactured by Chinese-based BOE, rather than LG Display as done for the Mate RS.
Whilst the last year’s Mate 10 featured a flat LCD screen, the larger Pro version incorporated AMOLED.
As previously reported, rumours also suggest the Mate 20 Pro will debut a whopping five cameras – two front, three back – similar to LG’s rumoured handsets.
The news comes as Huawei continues to reject allegations its products/services pose national security risks. The Chinese-based company has also continued to assert its inclusion in the local 5G build.
