Moto is to step up the pressure on budget smartphone brands with its new Moto C and Moto E ranges.
Previously not retailed in Australia, Motorola claim that “Whether you are buying your first smartphone or are upgrading your current phone, Motorola has two affordable devices that are packed with features and essentials you crave. The Moto E4 offers style, elegant design and top-notch specs, while the Moto C, available for the first time in Australia, gives new smartphone users the battery life, performance and speed they need.”
Priced at $249, the Moto E4 features a 5-inch display, fingerprint sensor and hefty 2800mAh battery. It’ll also arriving loaded up with Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by a MT6737 Quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU and 2GB of internal RAM.
Coming in two colors (Iron Gray and Blush Gold), the device also features a 8-megapixel rear-facing camera (with autofocus) and a 5-megapixel cam on the front.
Then, the Moto C promises to offer up the absolute essentials of a modern smartphone experience at the ultra-low cost of $149.
For your money, you get a 5-inch display, MTK6737m 1.1 GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM.
Camera-wise, the E4 packs a 5-megapixel shooter on front and a 2-megapixel camera on the rear-side.
Available in Pearl White and Starry Black colors, it also comes bundled with a 5W charger for the phone’s a 2350 mAh removable battery.
Moto E4 will be available at JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Independent Dealers and at www.motorola.com.au for $249.
Moto C will be available at Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Woolworths, Australia Post, Coles, Independent Dealers and at www.motorola.com.au for $149.
