Its been a long wait, but X is coming to Oz.The 4.7″ AMOLED (RGB) / HD 720 Moto X is flagged as having “the best of Motorola and Google”, and costs $549 in black or white, unlocked.

Moto X supports 4G LTE network of all main telcos – Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. The pure Android phone – made by Motorola, which until recently was owned by Android creator, Google, runs version 4.4.2, KitKat.
However, Aussie version of X doesn’t have the cool design your own phone feature called Moto Maker.
The new Moto has a curved back designed to fit comfortably in one hand and can be commanded by saying “OK Google Now” – no touching needed.
Google Now tool tells you stuff you need to know – like the best restaurant, or the weather in your current location.

Motorola Connect extension for Google Chrome lets you see and respond to notifications and texts from your desktop.
It also has a handy Migrate tool that makes it easy to transfer the contents of an old phone onto Moto X.Although priced at $549, Mobicity is selling it for $649.
