Navteq has expanded its Point-of-Interest (POI) content portfolio, with the company offering reviews for restaurants, wineries and independent accommodation from the Australian Good Food and Travel Guide (AGFG).
The new product – AGFG for Navteq: Travel Guide – provides detailed reviews for thousands of points of interest (POIs). This POI content will enable navigation applications and devices to provide trusted local insight, helping end-users make more informed decisions on where to eat, what to see and how to spend their leisure time.
With AGFG for NAVTEQ, consumers will have access to comprehensive restaurant, accommodation and travel reviews, encompassing all of Australia’s major metropolitan areas and their outlying townships.
Navteq’s Vice President of Product Management, Asia Pacific, Aaron Dannenbring said, “We’re delighted to bring this award-winning content to our customers. AGFG has long been acknowledged as an invaluable resource to help Australians plan everything from a perfect holiday to a special evening out. When used in tandem with the NAVTEQ map, our customers can integrate this content directly to their systems and bring more value to consumers.”
