In an effort to grab a major share of the LCD TV market Toshiba Australia has rolled out their new REGZA LCD TV brand with the top end models being available in 100Hz. They have also introduced new styling and a unique base swivel.
The new REGZA LCD TV range consists of the WL68 Series with 100Hz panels, the C3000 Series with integrated tuners, the A300 Series and the 20V300.
All large-screen REGZA LCD TVs are High Definition (HD) capable, have core digital features and have slim and lightweight designs. A key element of the new screens, claims Toshiba General Manager Mark Whittard, is styling, a new base swivel and a new generation of Toshiba HD technology. He claims that Toshiba has invested heavily in research and development, resulting in its “Meta Brain Pro” engine technology to produce more realistic, smooth and clear pictures.

Incorporating Toshiba’s own 100Hz technology, the new REGZA WL68 series is available in 32″, 37″, 42″ and 47″screens and has two HDMI outputs to expand connectivity options, and incorporates the Meta Brain Pro engine with 100Hz display.
Integrated 100Hz technology provides sharper, smoother, moving images every time, virtually eliminating any blur when viewing fast motion pictures on an LCD claim Toshiba.
The C3000 Series is a new ultra-convenient entertainment TV.
Presenting a fully integrated LCD TV from Toshiba, the C3000 Series is all you need to receive digital broadcasting with its built-in tuner. Enjoy the luxury of widescreen 16:9 picture viewing and the full capability of HD available through select digital broadcasts. The C3000 Series incorporates the 7-day Electronic Program Guide (EPG) giving viewers upcoming weekly program details at the click of a button.

The C3000 Series provides 32″, 37″ and 42″ screen options, two HDMI connections and utilises Meta Brain Pro technology.
