Struggling Windows phone maker Nokia is tipped to be close to announcing a new 10.1 inch Windows RT 8.1 Tablet running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
The Qualcomm quad-core CPU is extremely fast and has been clocked at 2.2GHz, it comes with a fast Adreno 330 integrated GPU.
The device is said to be very thin and will have a 1080p 10.1-inch display.
Analysts believe the device has little chance of success due to the failure to date of Windows based tablets.
One publication wrote “Has Nokia completely lost the plot, or does the impending arrival of the updated Windows RT 8.1 hold hope for the troubled platform?”
