The all-new Intelligent Auto (iA) function automatically sets the most suitable scene mode according to actual shooting conditions without the hassle of adjusting settings manually.
Panasonic Australia’s Category Marketing Manager, Mobile AV, Alistair Robins said: “An amazing 70x optical zoom with Advanced O.I.S in a take-anywhere compact, lightweight body, will dramatically expand your recording opportunities. And, with Pre-Record and 0.8-second Quick Start you can catch the moment on video as it happens. Intelligent Auto means you always get a great result, while simple uploading software makes sharing your videos quick and easy.”
The SDR-H80 is a hybrid camcorder with a 60-GB internal HDD that can record up to 54 hours (in LP mode). When combined with a 32-GB SDHC Memory Card (optional), the camcorder provides an additional recording time of up to 26 hours and 40 minutes (in LP mode).
The SDR-H80 has exceptional reliability, made possible by the ever-reliable SDHC/SD Memory Card, combined with an Anti-Shock Shield that helps protect the built-in hard disk from the effects of external impact. With its extended recording times and rugged design, this model is ideal for shooting lengthy events or for taking on the road.
The SDR-S26 records onto SDHC/SD Memory Cards (optional) so has fewer moving parts, making it highly resistant to external impact.
Included accessories:
SDR-H80 – Li-ion battery, AC Adaptor, USB Cable, AV-Cable, AC Cable, DC Cable, Software CD.
SDR-S26 – Li-ion battery, AC Adaptor, USB Cable, AV-Cable, AC Cable, DC Cable, Software CD.
The Panasonic SDR-H80 (available in black) and SDR-S26 (comes in black, red, and blue) will be available this month with an RRP of $829 and $549 respectively.
