Hollywood Studio and HD DVD supporter Paramount Pictures is fighting on with HD DVD releases of a range of films. Its new release in January is the star-studded HD DVD version of StarDust.
Starring the likes of Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro, StarDust will be available on DVD and HD DVD on January 24.
The film is based on the graphic novel by Neill Gaiman and Charles Vess. It follows hero Tristan (Charlie Cox) on his quest to find a fallen star. He finds the star, which has transformed into a beautiful girl (Claire Danes) and must battle various enemies who wish to keep the star for their own selfish or villainous reasons.
Special features on the HD DVD release include a Making Of doco, deleted scenes and bloopers.
