Ahead of the looming arrival of the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung have added a new color to the Galaxy S8 lineup.
The new color – Coral Blue – joins the Orchid Grey, Maple Gold, and Midnight Black the flagship device launched with.
Samsung Australia say that “the Coral Blue option will continue to offer IP68 water and dust resistance to a maximum of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes, MicroSD support up to 256GB*, always-on display, fast and wireless charging capabilities, and outstanding security via Samsung Knox integrated with fingerprint, iris, and facial scanner security technologies.”
There are no special perks or additional features bundled in with the new color. However, at least on a purely visual level, it does add increased diversity to the range.
The Galaxy S8 is now available in Coral Blue from the Samsung online store, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and selected retailers with the former at a RRP of $1199 while the S8+ model commands a price of $1349.
