Sonos is teaming with Danish design brand HAY adding three new coloured Sonos One speakers to its range.
The collection is adding a red, yellow and green speaker to the range, they are showcasing a grey and pink speaker (see image above) for Milan design week but they will not be available to purchase.
These colours are taken from HAY’s 2018 colour palette. The company says this collaboration sees Sonos and HAY ‘exploring the relationship between sound and colour in the home’.
Sonos says HAY is internationally renowned for its contemporary yet accessible aesthetic, sophisticated manufacturing and bold use of colour.
However, those wanting a colourful Sonos One will be paying more than the usual RRP of $299. Sonos has not confirmed Aussie pricing but the US price jumped from $199 to $229. So expect something of that similar price jump.
The HAY x Sonos One speakers will be available from September online.
Aussie customers should expect Amazon Alexa integrated into its Sonos One products in the coming months.
