Melbourne-based distributor Audio Active has snared an exclusive deal to distribute Sony’s top-end Hi-Fi products including Sony’s High-Resolution Audio (HRA) range.
Sony who were once a major force in the Australian audio market has handed Audio Active their ES series Hi-Fi range which was first sold in Australia back in the 1950s, when the company released broadcast quality open-reel recorders that were used extensively by radio and television stations in their early foundation days.
Sony’s globally renowned Sony ES (Extremely High Standard) series is the oldest Japanese manufactured high fidelity range of products, dating back to 1954 when the company released broadcast quality open reel recorders.
The ES series of hi-fi components was officially launched in 1965 with the release of its first product – the TA1120 integrated amplifier.
It was an instant hit, with the model lasting until 1976. ES stood for unmistakeable quality then, and continues to do so today.
Audio Active says it is proud to be in a position to support not only the ES range but also Sony’s superb High-Resolution Audio (HRA) products which includes:
– AV Receivers
– Blu-Ray Players
– Soundbars
– Hi-Res audio components
– Network capable hi-fi components
– Micro systems
– Stereo integrated amplifiers
– Loudspeakers
– Walkmans and
– Noise cancelling and Hi-Res Audio headphones.
Famous for its strong audio heritage, Audio Active says Sony continues to lead in this category by delivering products optimised for HRA, which provides superior quality audio over compressed audio formats and CDs.
