Lenovo has showcased their latest millennial-ready ThinkBook Plus at this years’ annual CES in Las Vegas.

The new laptop looks similar to other ThinkBook products, except there’s an impressive additional feature: it uses an ink screen on the reverse side of the display.

This means it has the standard display on one side, with the keyboard and touchpad underneath. However, on the opposite side of this screen rests a 10.8-inch monochrome e-ink display, which can even be used when the laptop is closed.

‘[The ThinkBook Plus] also delivers an unexpectedly bold sweep of innovations such an exciting e-Ink writable cover display, designed with the new wave of worker in mind,’ the official Lenovo website states.

‘It all makes the ThinkBook Plus a uniquely powerful new tool in today’s productivity-hungry workplace.’

Other features include a 10th-gen Intel Core i7 process, 8 or 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 or 512GB of onboard flash storage.

The screen is an impressive 13.3-inch full HD IPS Display. It has three USB ports, both type-A and type-C, with an additional HDMI port as well.

Additionally, the power button doubles down as the laptop’s fingerprint reader, enabling a one-touch unlock solution, first introduced by Apple and becoming more prevalent in laptop releases this year.

The ThinkBook Plus is also sturdy yet light. It also offers the convenience of connectivity, with owners being able to use it to check emails and schedules as it syncs up with the Windows 10 calendar and email programs.

But the screen is also multi-use, with it being enabled to be used as a sketchpad, a PDF reader and a notepad for OneNote.

It also has dedicated access buttons to Amazon’s Alexa for voice commands, in case you need the weather or news report read to you from a distance.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus will be available for purchase this March with a starting price of around $1,200.
