A new report from Bloomberg says this year’s iPhone model may have an always-on display, similar to the Apple Watch.
In order to allow this innovation, the phones will have an improved battery life. Bloomberg also reported the phones will sport better video recording capacities, a 120Hz refresh rate, a smaller notch on the screen, and a faster A15 chip.
It is believed Apple will use the low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) panels that Apple Watches have, which dynamically adjusts the screen’s refresh rates to converse battery life.
