Samsung who is set to reveal a Google TV at CES 2011 is also tipped to launch a Galaxy Player with a 4″ display screen at the US event next week.
The new device that will compete with the iPod Touch has a high res 4-inch LCD display with an 800 x 480 resolution as well as a 1GHz CPU, and a 3.2 megapixel camera on the back as well as a front-facing camera, all powered by a 1200mAh battery.

Looking like an original iPhone the Galaxy Player is said to be running Android 2.2, with Samsung’s additional TouchWiz layer.
Samsung is already said to be planning access to Android Market for the new Galaxy Player.
