The PSP will no longer have a UMD drive, which will force users to download games and other content (like TV shows and movies) via its Wi-Fi connection. It will also be able to get content via direct connection to the PlayStation 3.
While not formally announced yet, this new handheld device has been ‘confirmed,’ thanks to an accidental video post by Qore, the subscription-based interactive online magazine for the PlayStation Network.
