According to reports, the PSP Go will have a 3.8-inch screen, weighs 43% less than the current PSP-3000, has 16GB of flash memory, and Bluetooth support. In addition, the screen slides up to reveal the directional pad and buttons, making it more compact.

The PSP will no longer have a UMD drive, which will force users to download games and other content (like TV shows and movies) via its Wi-Fi connection. It will also be able to get content via direct connection to the PlayStation 3.

While not formally announced yet, this new handheld device has been ‘confirmed,’ thanks to an accidental video post by Qore, the subscription-based interactive online magazine for the PlayStation Network.
