U.S. company, Banshee Audio, has launched a virtual 5.0 surround sound system for iPod and PSP devices – close on the heels of Yamaha’s YSP-1000.
Banshee Audio claims it is the first such product. It claims to use a 50 watt amplifier to drive its five individual speakers, which “provide high-end sound precision and clarity.” A subwoofer output is provided to add some true low end if required.
