ASUS’ ZenScreen Touch portable monitor will be available in Australian retail stores from August this year.
The portable 15.6-inch ZenScreen Touch features an IPS display with Full HD resolution and boasting a slim 9mm profile and weighing 0.9kg.
The $699 monitor can be used in various ways – from serving as a larger canvas for your smartphone, as a second monitor for your computer, or as an external display for a Nintendo Switch.
The monitor has a built-in case that also doubles as a kickstand when folded back and supports swiping, scrolling and tapping gestures through 10-point multi-touch input.
The ZenScreen Touch has both USB-C and Micro HDMI ports and comes with a built-in 7800mAh battery the company claim provides up to four hours of use between charges.
The new product also features a dedicated ZenScreen Touch mobile app for Android, which allows it to mirror an Android phone’s screen for improved visibility and control on the larger ASUS display.
