Optus are going on a Xmas push on BlackBerry Torch 9860 offering a bonus bonus BB PlayBook tablet for every one sold. From now until January 31st, 2012, Optus customers who purchase the BlackBerry Torch 9860, running the new BB 7 OS, smartphone on the $49 Optus cap will each receive a free 7 inch BlackBerry PlayBook, valued at $579.

The new 3.7″ touch screen BlackBerry also comes with optical trackpad to provides an improved navigational experience.
The BlackBerry Torch 9860 also includes 4GB of internal memory, expandable to 32GB with an external memory card for additional storage capacity for apps and social media content.
The free 7 inch tablet BlackBerry PlayBook 1024×600 resolution capacitive screen boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, although is not said to be selling very well, hence the push by Optus.
PlayBook also comes with AdobeFlash Player built-in for streaming videos, online games, 3MP front-facing and 5MP rear-facing camera (both supporting full HD, 1080p video recording).
This BlackBerry bundle means users can wirelessly connect the BlackBerry Torch 9860 handset through BlackBerry Bridge for secure access to their email, calendar, address book, task list, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM).
