Federal Privacy Commissioner Karen Curtis has issued privacy guidelines for teenagers and others using social networking sites.
“Many people are all too readily posting photos and personal details of themselves and their friends on social networking sites without necessarily thinking about who else may obtain access to the personal information,” said Curtis.
The Commish has posted a series of FAQs on her Web site, including advice about how to lodge complaints about social networking sites.
