Apple has announced a new back-to-school promotion for students, giving them the equivalent cash back of a 4GB iPod nano with the purchase of selected Mac computers.
Any K-12 or tertiary student qualifying for the education discount who buys a MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac or MacPro will receive $199 (the price of a 4GB iPod nano) in a postal rebate.
“School isn’t the same without a Mac and an iPod,” says Apple, which kicked off the promotion yesterday. Any Macs bought between now and the 18th April 2008 will qualify for the rebate.
Whether you’re a new or returning student, a lecturer or a member of staff, you can kick-start the year in style with the new promotion, the company says.
