Patent-pending contour ear gels could be the secret to Image headphones getting a head start on similar products. Earphones not sitting properly in the ear canal can be uncomfortable or downright painful, so there is hope this new technology will alleviate such issues.

The soft, oval silicon ear canal gels are said to reduce ear fatigue and provide a great seal for excellent noise isolation and increased bass response.
Because ear canal measurements vary, each Image model comes with five different sizes of washable ear gels: small, medium, and large single flange designs, as well as small and large double flange designs.
Image X5 earphones feature silver gray aluminium bodies and streamlined black “tails.” These tails reduce cable stress and serve as an acoustic dampener to minimise cable noise.
Klipsch has gone to great lengths to ensure the long-lasting durability of Image X5, including its 50-inch-long vinyl cables. Put through extensive “real world” testing, these headphones feature strain relief at every cable connection point to help prevent wire damage.
X5 works with iPods and iPhones and virtually any device with a headphone jack. These earphones come with a compact pouch, an airline adaptor, five sets of ear gels and an ear gel cleaning tool.
