HP is adding a number of new products to its range such as notebooks, monitors but there are two standouts in this launch, a new EliteBook 800 series and a Thunderbolt Dock G2.
The EliteBook 800 series has a few features users will enjoy, including a first world-facing, noise-cancelling microphone and all base models will have a webcam cover. The HP EliteBook series includes the 13-inch 830 G5, 14-inch 840 G5 and 15-inch 850 G5.
The noise-cancelling microphone will remove unwanted sounds or enhance for 360 degree voice pick-up when in conference mode.
HP says the all these devices come with the HP Premium Collaboration Keyboard, featuring built-in keys to easily manage calls, and include HP PhoneWise, the world’s only Windows solution to text and call from the PC across iOS and Android devices.
These notebooks feature 8th generation Intel Core vPro processors, with up to 14 hours of battery life and HP Fast Charge, which HP says can charge 50 per cent of the battery in just 30 minutes .
The EliteBook 800 series is mostly aimed at businesses to be bought in bulk but can be purchased individually on the HP website.

The Thunderbolt Dock G2 has what HP says is a world-first optional audio conferencing module, an attachment made by Bang and Olufsen that can be placed at the top of the dock for conference calls. This of course comes separately.
It supports any HP or non-HP device notebook with Thunderbolt and USB-C functionality. It can also support up to two 4K displays.
HP says these will be available to peruse at MWC between February 26 and March 1. The EliteBook 800 series will be available in the next few weeks from US$1,029. The Thunderbolt Dock will begin rolling out in May with price TBD.
