A major HTC One update is set to be released on July 22nd with the highly popular smartphone set to get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean next month. A customer support page on the Telstra website revealed the details.
Launching with Android 4.1 in tow, the HTC One update would see the smartphone benefit from a selection of small software tweaks, including additional camera features. HTC has yet to officially announce when its metal clad flagship phone will make the jump to the latest Android offering.
The Telstra listing has suggested the HTC One update is currently “waiting for initial vendor submission” and will be approved by early July.
On top of this, the Aussie network has claimed that the Android 4.2.2. HTC One update will be officially released on July 22. It is not currently known as or when the HTC One update will be rolled out to UK-based owners of the 4.7-inch smartphone.
