Despite the brand being on the nose in Australia, banned Chinese company Huawei is now looking to take on the Microsoft Xbox and Sony’s PlayStation gaming console.
A tipster @Tomato Prince has disclosed that Huawei is planning to release its own game console similar to the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft ‘s Xbox gaming consoles this year, what is not known is which games will be available on the new device.
Also coming is a new top end gaming laptop that will take on archrival Lenovo and market leading in the gaming notebook market Acer.
Last year, before the sales of the Huawei Honor brand, a Hunter V700 Gaming laptop was launched by the Huawei subsidiary.
Insiders claim that Huawei is currently working on a high-end console and is looking to develop partnership with gaming software developers like Tencent games so as to get popular games inside the console.
Some analysts claim that the Company has little chance of being taken seriously in the gaming market.
