HUBBED has partnered with eBay and DHL eCommerce, to give online merchants access to its parcel delivery network – with many locations open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The company offers a parcel delivery service which integrates major parcel carriers into its expanding network of 1000 petrol stations, convenience stores and newsagents for parcel drop offs and picks ups.
Through its service, HUBBED endeavors to be a convenient delivery alternative for online shoppers and sellers.
Founder & CEO of HUBBED, David McLean, affirms that the company’s services offer a compelling alternative to eBay sellers:
“The HUBBED model has put the customer at the heart of the delivery cycle. The seamless integration of our extensive parcel drop off network with our delivery carriers, and our low flat rates, is an attractive alternative to eBay sellers”
“Our major advantage is our network of stores that operates late – and over 60 per cent operate 24/7. Until now, online sellers were required to drop off their parcels during business hours at the post office or waited around for a pick up”
“Now sellers can drop off at a location close by at a time that suits them including weekends. HUBBED completes the full delivery cycle, from domestic and international shipment, to click and collect, returns, and a pick up point for failed deliveries”.
Following its new partnership with eBay, sellers will now be able to drop off customer goods at any HUBBED store, with many of them open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The company’s partnership with eBay and DHL expands its recent growth in various categories: number of partnerships with retailers, partnerships with major global carriers – giving carriers a shopfront for parcels – an online platform which features its growing network of 1000 stores.
Now, eBay Australia sellers can establish a HUBBED account to link with their eBay account and automatically generate shipping labels for international orders.
Australian online shoppers have the option to retrieve their parcels at a convenient time that suits them, from within the same network.
Following the new partnership, eBay sellers will benefit from HUBBED’s partnership with DHL eCommerce and receive a 20% shipping discount for international parcels – until 15 February 2018.
Charles Brewer, CEO of DHL eCommerce, states that the partnership will be beneficial to Australians, especially as online shopping continues to soar:
“With online shopping sales by Australians reaching around $20 billion a year, and the number of parcels expected to rise in tandem, both sellers and shoppers need greater convenience and choice in the way they deliver and collect parcels”
“We are pleased to provide a boost to e-commerce in Australia through convenient drop-off and pick-up points now available extensively across the country to enable delivery to over 220 countries and territories worldwide”.
