Pricing for the upcoming range of iPhones have been leaked with the iPhone X like 6.1-inch LCD device to be around US$700 and the larger OLED 6.5-inch iPhone hitting the US$1000 mark.
According to 9to5Mac, KGI Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the 6.5-inch device will be dual-sim, the first Apple phone to have this capability. Pricing for the 5.8-inch model was not disclosed.
Kuo says the 6.1-inch phone is at a lower-price point as it will be missing certain features like no dual-camera or 3D touch.
He also note this year’s upcoming iPhones will be expanding its colour palette to more than just the muted tones.
The 6.5-inch iPhone will be available in black, white and a new gold hue. The entry-level 6.1-inch will reportedly get even more choices with grey, white, blue, red and orange (pictured above).
If these reports are true, this will be the first time in five years that Apple has released a device in more colours than just black, silver and gold/rose gold, excluding its Product(RED) special editions.
The last time a colourful range was debuted was with its iPhone 5C.
Apple is expected to release its 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus with OLED, a 5.8-inch OLED update on the iPhone X and an entry level 6.1-inch LCD model.
The three new devices are expected to be showcased and released in September.
