Lenovo is looking to strike at the current absence of a new Surface tablet on Microsoft’s docket by launching its own 12-inch Windows tablet, called the Miix 720, at this year’s CES in Las Vegas.
The Miix 720 is packing a seventh-generation Intel processor and supports up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage space.
Like the Surface, it’ll boast a built-in kickst and keyboard attachment to help make it easy to work within an office environment. Similarly, the 12-inch QHD display, while smaller than the Surface’s, offers up a more accomplished resolution of 2880 x 1920-pixels.
“Paired with a multifaceted Lenovo Active Pen 2,3 the Miix 720 is ideal for effortless note taking or bringing creative concepts to life,” the company says.
The Miix 720 will arrive in late-January at an Australian RRP of $1399.
