A promotional video for LG showcasing its new Super UHD TV featuring soccer superstar Kakà has hit 200 million views over a number of social media sites.

LG says the video shows the impact of viewing angles on colour performance featuring the LG SUPER UHD TV with LG Nano Cell technology.

In Australia, the video received 4.8 million views on LG Australia owned social media channels in May. On YouTube the video has more than 87 million views.

The campaign clip attracted over 190 million views on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram and also topped the Viral Video Chart of Ad Age in August 2017.

LG says the video emphasises the importance of colour accuracy at wide viewing angles as consumers can watch TV from off-axis positions not just facing straight on.
