Ahead of its official reveal at this year’s IFA Conference on August 31st, LG’s new V30 smartphone might have had its launch date leaked.
Reports out of AndroidAuthority claim that the device will be launched within the South Korean market on the 15th of September before being rolled out globally on the 28th of September.
Rumours had previously indicated LG would unveil the V30 sometime in August to get an edge on competitors.
Last year’s V20 was unveiled on September 6, 2016, putting it only a week later in the year than the expected V30 announcement date.
The rumoured features of the device include a 5.8-inch display, 2.4Ghz Snapdragon processor, 4GB RAM and a dual-lens camera.
Unlike the V20, the new phone is also rumoured to feature waterproofing.
ChannelNews recently noted that the rumoured specs of the new handset are quite similar to those of the upcoming Pixel ‘XXL’.
