It will have the world’s most transparent display screen – 20 percent for the black-and-white type and 15 percent for the colour type, Samsung said on Friday, which enables viewers look right through the panel “like glass.”
And Samsung’s new baby also has HDMI and USB port, which began production last month.
This compares with the conventional LCD panels that use back light unit and have around 5 percent transparency.
The 22″ display will also be highly energy efficient to boot, consuming 90 percent less electricity compared with a conventional panels using back light because transparent LCD panels use natural light sources.
