Logitech has revealed its new enterprise-focused Zone Wireless Headset aimed at those working in an open office corporate environment. Available from April 2019 for MSRP $319.95.
The news follows Logitech’s unveiling of its “most technologically advanced headphones yet” the gaming headset Logitech G935 ($329.95) with 12 hours of battery life.
The Zone Wireless boasts 15 hours of talk time and music playback with a range of up to 30m.
It is one of the first headsets to offer Qi wireless charging and active noise cancellation (ANC) to block out noise in a busy workplace.
Featuring leatherette ear pads and silicone padded headband, Logitech claims this headset is designed to be comfortable to wear all day.
Logitech also offers a downloadable companion app, Logitech Tune, which enables users to control the headset i.e. muting the headset, activating ANC, adjusting sound etc.
As it is designed for the workplace environment, Logitech Zone Wireless headset is certified for Skype for Business and approved for Microsoft Teams.
It will also support conferencing and voice applications such as Cisco WebEx, Cisco Jabber, and Go-To-Meeting.
Logitech also says it worked closely with its Collaboration Partners including Google Cloud, Zoom, Fuze, Unify, TrueConf, and StarLeaf “to ensure a seamless user experience”.
“Many professionals bring their own headphones to work, however, they do not address the typical needs of an open office,” said Philippe Depallens, vice president and general manager of Logitech Audio.
“Logitech Zone Wireless is designed with contemporary style, supreme comfort, and audio call clarity, as well as active noise cancellation and great sound quality for music, whenever and wherever you need it.”
Logitech Zone Wireless with Bluetooth is slated to be available from authorised Logitech resellers from April 2019 for MSRP $319.95.
