Logitech has just won five Good Design Awards, this marks the fifth consecutive year that Logitech who rebranded the Company last year to be called Logi, has won awards.
The awarded products include the Logitech Wireless Mouse M280, the Logitech ConferenceCam Connect, the Logitech Keys-To-Go, the Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 and the Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse.
At CES several of these products were on show along with the Swiss Companies new gaming mouse, top end conference camera as well as an expanded accessory range that now includes a cover complete with an excellent keyboard for the Apple iPad Pro which has a large 12.9-inch display.
“These additional design award wins help underscore how design is at the core of what we do at Logitech,” said Bracken Darrell, Logitech president and CEO. “Being recognized by prestigious organizations such as GOOD DESIGN, motivates us to continue our focus on design and making exceptional products that connect people to experiences they care about.”
The Good Design Awards are presented each year to the most innovative industrial, product and graphic designs produced around the world by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
Another excellent product that SmartHouse instantly fell in love with at CES was the Companies new ConferenceCam which is one of the Good Design Award winners.

The first thing you notice about this product is the sleek stunning design, its a camera you want in your boardroom for the simple reason that it looks both smart and high tech.
A remote control magnetically snaps into the camera tower,there is also USB connector, and a power adapter in the box.
The camera itself measures 30.4 by 7.4 by 7.4cm (HWD) and weighs 771 grams, making it easy to pack in your luggage if you are on the road and need to communicate from another location.
All you have to do to get started is charge the camera as it can run on battery power for up to three hours. Once fully charged, hold down the power button to turn it on, then press a mode button on the tip of the cylinder.
Your choices include Bluetooth, wireless screen mirroring, and video conferencing through USB.

To use the device as a Bluetooth speaker, simply hold down the Bluetooth button at the top and then choose it on the device you wish to connect.
You can also use the ConferenceCam to display a mobile device screen on a connected HDTV.
This is set to be a hot product in 2016.
Another new product from Logitech is an updated Harmony universal entertainment remote, that now has additional Internet of Things (IoT) control features.
Its Harmony remote control, tablet or smartphone can now control the TV, set-top box, speakers, lighting, thermostat, door locks, window shades, and other popular devices.

Its Harmony Activities can create one-touch control of multiple products, letting you power on your TV, dim your lights, adjust the temperature and open blinds – all at the same time.
If you are away from home, you can check the status and adjust devices from the Harmony mobile app.
