Navigation software company MetroView Systems has launched a new GPS app designed for the iPhone.
The MetroView app claims to provide iPhone users with full GPS functionality and includes SpeedAlert which confirms current speed limits with visual and audible warnings, advanced lane guidance, places of interest, as well as a walking mode. Users will also hear typical Australian streets and suburbs pronounced in an Australian accented male or female voice.
In addition, the MetroView provides frequent map updates with a simple plug and play capability – receive notification, connect and install update. Map data is stored on the iPhone and as a result, there are no download costs for mapping or navigation. MetroView also incorporates individual house numbering based on the official Australian Government database.
The MetroView Australia Turn-by-Turn application for the iPhone is available now for AU$24.99 through the Apple iTunes App Store.
