Motorola has officially entered the Australian budget smartphone market with the launch of its new Moto e6 Plus.
The Moto e6 Plus is now available via the Motorola Online Store and selected retailers including The Good Guys, Officeworks, Big W and Mobileciti.
Selling for only $199, the new device comes with the same slick look of the previous model, but with an improved 8MP selfie camera and 13MP rear dual system, updated security features such as fingerprint and facial recognition, and a larger 6.1” Max Vision display.
Running on Android 9 Pie, the device comes in polished grey, has an octa-core 2.0Ghz processor, 3000mAh battery, 32GB of storage and either 2-4GB of memory, with an additional microSD port and dual-sim capabilities.
“We’re proud to offer consumers reliable phones that take quality seriously at an affordable price point,” Danny Adamopoulos, Motorola’s GM sales for APAC, told PCWorld.
