Netgear is launching the Arlo Pro 2 1080p HD security camera that can be used both indoors and outdoors with 130-degree field of view.
The Arlo Pro 2 is an upgrade to the Arlo Pro, the new device includes a number of new features such as an attachable solar panel for outdoor cameras and Amazon Alexa support.
The Arlo Pro 2 is a rechargeable security camera it also has an activity zone feature where you can get the camera to focus on certain areas users want motion and audio notifications and has a 3 second look back so users can make sure they see everything they need to.
The base station has an alarm which can be activated remotely via the Arlo app.
Like other Arlo products, users can link all their devices on the Arlo app, get notifications for noise and motion and keep video recordings stored on the cloud.
The company will also be integrating Google Assistant on all of its Arlo products.
With Google Assistant in Arlo systems users can stream live video from cameras onto displays with Chromecast. To do this just say “Ok Google, show…” followed by where your camera is located and on which device you want to see it on.
Google Assistant will be on the Arlo Pro, Pro 2, Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, Arlo Go and Arlo.
