Belkin is set to introduce the N1 wireless router and a new wireless USB hub.
The N1, shipping later this month uses the 802.11n 2.0 specification to deliver an operating range of up to 1,600 feet under optimum conditions, with a theoretical data rate of 300MBps. Actual throughput is less. Up untill now Belkin has been selling a preN router with considerable success. The router’s built-in LCD can show the current data rate, number of networked devices, network bandwidth usage and the date and time.
The F5U302 four-port wireless USB hub, is shipping in late August and has a range of about 7 metres, giving the user wireless access to all the USB devices connected to the hub.
