BenQ has expanded its VA Range of LCD TVs with the addition of the VA261 26 inch LCD and VA421 42 inch mode. The 42 incher features HDMI.
The new models feature a claimed 8ms response time, video tuning technology, 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. The VA261 & VA421 have an 800:1 and 1200:1 contrast ratio respectively. A 10-bit colour processor which process 1.07 billion colours is also in place for colour refinement, says BenQ.
Additional features include picture in picture modes, picture by picture, picture freeze, sleep timers, child lock and parental controls.
BenQ says the design of the VA series is sure to please as well, as the concept comes “from subtle minimalist design with touches of luxury characterised by straight lines used as a basic element throughout the design.”
All BenQ LCD TVs come with a standard three year warranty.
