According to the company, the Nokia Messaging function only requires a user to type in their work email address and password, and the set-up wizard does the rest. Email is pushed directly to the handset. It also provides access to popular email accounts such as Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail and Ovi Mail. In addition, users can now set up IM directly from the Nokia E72 home screen. Users can now use the phone to chat to friends and colleagues on Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi Chat.
The Nokia E72 offers fast Internet up-downlink speeds, the latest version of Ovi Maps with A-GPS navigation, a five-megapixel camera, and an optical navi key. The office capabilities on the Nokia E72 have also been updated with a new version of Quickoffice, which delivers Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility as well as free version upgrades when new features become available.
The Nokia E72 is now available in Australia from Optus, VHA and selected retailers with an RRP of $719.
