Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman is set to be the face of the new Nintendo More Brain Training ad campaign in Europe. No word yet on whether she will be playing Brain Training in the Aussie ad campaign though.
The Australian-born actress will appear in print and on TV in Europe as part of a 60 day brain exercise programme for a new game: More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? starting today. Nicole will feature in a home setting, relaxing and training her brain. She is seen speaking into the Nintendo DS console to complete the exercises and memorising numbers.

Nintendo Europe said in a statement it chose Kidman “because of her universal appeal to mainstream audiences of all ages and backgrounds, as well as her reputation for being intelligent, entertaining and genuine. Her personality and ability to combine the world of film with a family centric home lifestyle was felt to be a strong fit with the Nintendo DS, which prides itself in creating entertainment and experiences that enrich people’s lives – no matter what their age or previous gaming experience is.”
However, Nintendo Australia is remaining tight-lipped on whether Nicole Kidman will be featuring in the More Brain Training campaign in her home country.
Nintendo Australia spokesperson Vispi Bhopti said, “Can’t confirm or deny [it] at this stage – we will be making an announcement next week.”
