Online technology Company, Kogan Technologies who was slammed by the ACCC for misleading advertising has hit back with an impressive array of low cost products that include a $199 digital radio complete with Internet radio and a portable GPS navigation system that is also a music player.
Also in their new line up is a $169 wireless picture frame that can receive images from a mobile phone or from a Twitter or other social network sites a new Blu ray player, a $499 Full HD 1080p, 32 LCD TV and a $369 full HD 1080p Camcorder.
Kogan CEO, Ruslan Kogan who is about to go online in the USA claims that his recent run in with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission had not hurt his business and that he was now working with the ACCC to control advertising on his site.
The new Kogan digital radio which goes on sale shortly has a USB port for loading music and an iPod dock complete with a charger function for both the new iPhone and iPod touch. Currently the new range of Pure digital radio’s that come with an iPod dock will not charge a device and can cost up to $999.

The Kogan Wi-Fi Digital Radio will provide more than 10,000 pre-programmed stations for listeners to tune in to, that can be accessed through searches by country, state or genre.
The model will also allow for connection to Podcasts of 9,000 programs, as well as standard AM/FM radio and alarm clock functions.
Also in the line up is a $249 voice guided navigation system with Sensis R15.1 Australian maps and provides alerts to both speed and red light cameras.
The EVINAVG3 features a large 4.3″ screen that displays 3D icons for landmarks and points of interest.
Kogan claims that the EVINAVG3 combines GPS with media player capabilities to allow for MP3’s, movies, photos and eBooks to be uploaded and accessed through the device.
Also among the new range is a $269 full HD 1080p Blu ray player.
The 2.0 Blu-Ray player supports MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, DIVX movie formats as well as a range of music and picture file types. Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby True-HD compatibility also features to ensure high quality audio is also enabled.
