Panasonic has added to its camera line-up at the Photokina trade fair in Cologne, introducing the Lumix GH5, Lumix DMC-G85, Lumix DMC-FZ2500 and Lumix DMC-LX10.Panasonic states that the GH5 digital single lens mirrorless camera is capable of recording 4K 60p/50p or 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p video.
It additionally features 6K Photo, which Panasonic states extracts approximately 18 MP still images from ultra-high-quality video with approximately nine times the pixel count of full-HD.
With the GH5’s “high-speed, long-time burst-shooting capability, spur-of-the-moment shots can be saved as beautiful photos with higher resolution that complies with larger-sized printing” with 6K Photo, Panasonic states, while approximately 8 MP 4K Photo images can be captured at 60 fps.
Panasonic states that the GH5 is scheduled to be introduced to the global market early next year.
