Panasonic has expanded its LUMIX camera portfolio with the new 4K capable FZ1000 II hybrid bridge camera (A$1,399) and TZ95 ‘Travel Zoom’ digital camera (A$699).

The new FZ1000 II hybrid bridge camera succeeds the capabilities of Panasonic’s DMC-FZ1000, boasting crystal-clear imagery, several 4K features (e.g. 4K Photo with 4K Pre-Burst) and responsive shooting.

The device supports smooth 4K video capture in 3840 x 2160 at 25p, and is expected to land in Australia in April 2019.

“The original philosophy for this series was class-leading imaging, and the FZ1000 II builds on this with
new capabilities to support the creation of stunning shots, including expanded 4K features,
an upgraded high-resolution LVF and precise touch focus,” asserts Panasonic Senior Product Marketing Manager, Scott Melish.
