The USB connectivity is said to be simple to use and allows users to digitalise the analogue sound of vinyl and back it up to a PC. It features automatic operation of vinyl playback at 33-1/3 and 45rpm speeds, and has a built-in phonograph pre-amp that allows for compatibility with AV receivers with phonograph input. In addition, the static balance tone arm encompasses a bonded diamond stylus for precise tracking and low record wear.
Sound Forge Audio Studio software comes as part of the package allowing those who want to be a little more creative to edit or produce their music at a professional quality on a home computer.
