Samsung Camera With HDMI Announced

The new digital camera from Samsung comes with a HDMI port, allowing users to share photos on their HD TV.

The Samsung WB550 features a 24mm ultra-wide Schneider lens, 10x zoom, 3-inch LCD screen, and a 12.2-megapixel sensor. The unit can also display recorded videos (720p) on the device as well as photographs on any HD TV via its built-in HDMI port.

Samsung’s Digital AV Marketing Manager, Sagar Dave said, “Consumers are gaining an increasing understanding of HD through the latest television technology on the market. Samsung is further extending the benefit of HD to its innovative digital camera solutions so that customers can benefit from the sharpest images yet.”

Samsung’s advanced WB550 is available now in black and grey for $579.
