Sharp has unveiled a new micro component system that upscales movies to 1080p.

The Sharp XL-DV75H has a DVD player built-in and can play DVD, CD-R, MP3, JPEG, DivX, SVCD and VCD. It has a HDMI port, an FM tuner with 40 station preset memory, and clock/timer/sleep function.
 
Available in a piano black, the XL-DV75H’s main unit measures 175mm (wide) x 138mm (high) x 225mm (deep) while the speakers are both 130mm x 170mm x 210mm.
